Século IX.
Ships of wolves of the sea have come
To bring warfare upon your home;
They have taken old Yaudet town
And the church there they have burnt down.
The old bishop did cry and mourn
When he was forced to leave from home
And settle in another place
Where from this plague he would be safe.
The king has heard of sack and fire
With gnashing of teeth and great ire
Quickly under way he has been
With foot, yeomen and kith and kin,
Three long days we have resisted
Three long days we have combated
Three long days, aye, and three long nights
Doing nothing but kill and fight!
As long as lasted the struggle,
Ravens hovered in a circle.
When the last drop of blood was shed
They pounced on the treat and they fed!
